Stay secure in Rex CRM with multi-factor authentication, and have enhanced protection against unauthorised access!
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security method that requires you to provide multiple forms of identification, such as a password and a one-time code generated via an app, before accessing an application. Your login credentials and method will remain the same, so you will sign-in to Rex the way you have always done.
To make MFA as easy as ever we have the Rex Profile app - a centralised place to let users change their personal info and security settings. We'll also have a new look log-in page with improvements that will make it load nearly twice as fast.
How it works:
- Once MFA is enabled for a user, they will be prompted to provide a 6-digit code (generated by an app such as Google Authenticator) every time they login
- Enabling multi-factor authentication requires users to re-enter their password.
- Disabling multi-factor authentication requires users to enter a multi-factor code
There are no immediate required actions from agencies or users when the new authentication system is rolled out. We have worked hard to ensure that the rollout of this new platform is as seamless as possible.
