It seems we’ve managed to confuse some users with our latest feature spotlight (which was actually one part Pocket feature release, and one part new app release). Our bad - we got a bit too excited and tried to cram it all into one. The first part of that release announced bulk SMS and email, simpler registration and a bunch of other cool features for Pocket. This post is a clarification of the second part of that release.In a nutshell, Pocket Kiosk is a companion app to Pocket that lets attendees register themselves at open homes. Like Batman has Robin, Pocket has Pocket Kiosk. Robin supports Batman. Pocket Kiosk supports Pocket... but they are separate entities entirely.We’ve designed Pocket Kiosk to be used on an iPad or Android tablet. The idea is, you prop it up at an open home and let attendees check themselves in. That’s it. We haven’t put all the bells and whistles into Pocket Kiosk because that’s not what it’s for. Need to jot down some attendee feedback? That’s for Pocket. Want to send a bulk SMS or email? That’s also a job for Pocket. Want to let open home attendees pop their details in to your open home register, and free up your hands? That’s where Pocket Kiosk comes in to play. Essentially, Pocket Kiosk is for the people. Pocket is for you.So, if you’ve uninstalled Pocket, head back over to the App Store (or Google Play Store) store toot suite and re-install it. Then, if you haven't already downloaded it, make sure you have Pocket Kiosk for your iOS or Android tablet.
